Softrite is a Zimbabwean payroll software company. For more than 42 years we have built, supported and updated the payroll that hundreds of businesses and farms rely on, from a small office in Newlands, Harare to support teams in two cities.
Our story
Softrite was set up by Managing Director Mike Garden in 1984 with one NCR DM5 computer and a printer, in a small office in Newlands, Harare. The brief was simple: give Zimbabwean employers a payroll they could trust, without needing a computer expert to run it.
That payroll grew into Adaski. Every version since has been shaped by two things: our own ideas, and the feedback of the clients who use it every month. Through currency changes, new tax tables and shifting NEC and NSSA rules, Adaski has kept Zimbabwean payrolls accurate and compliant, online or off.
Today, hundreds of businesses and farms across the country run on Adaski, supported by our teams in Harare and Bulawayo. And we are building what comes next: Payrite, our cloud payroll platform, launching soon.
